Description
This forum was established as a part of PKBI to address the issue of meaningful youth participation (MYP), which aligns with the spirit of Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR). As a result, the PKBI Youth Forum was formed during the 2014 PKBI National Congress.
The PKBI Youth Forum is an organizational structure within PKBI, as stipulated in Chapter VIII, Article 20 of the PKBI Bylaws concerning PKBI organizational structures. The PKBI Youth Forum is established at every level of PKBI, from national to regional and branch levels, with the task of representing youth in the association's decision-making processes related to youth issues and ensuring the realization of meaningful youth participation in the association.
As a commitment of PKBI to realize an inclusive youth movement, as outlined in the "PKBI Strategic Plan 2021-2030 Document," and to meaningfully involve young people, the PKBI Youth Forum was formed and serves as the representative of PKBI youth in the association's decision-making and offers a youth perspective to achieve inclusivity.
