WorkCycle is an initiative of the Chalice Foundation, She Listens and The Dugdale Trust for Women & Girls that aims to support women in workplaces throughout their menstrual lives. In 2019, About Bloody Time: The Menstrual Revolution We Have to Have, written by Jane Bennett and Karen Pickering, found that 1 in 3 women wished they could talk more openly and not feel they have to make up an excuse when issues of menstruation impact their capacity to work.
WorkCycle is an important next step towards dismantling the menstrual taboo & developing a positive menstrual culture across our workplaces.
Three valuable programs are offered by WorkCycle, including: Menstrual Wellbeing at Work, Menopause Wellbeing at Work, and Menopause Conversations at Work.
