Victims of Crime Assistance League (Hunter) NSW offers emotional support and practical assistance for individuals, including children, who have been affected by crime, tragedy and trauma.

Located in Newcastle NSW, VOCAL’s Victim Support Unit, is partially funded via Department of Communities and Justice (via Victims Services) which enables us to provide a free service to clients in the Hunter Region. A unique organisation in NSW, we are a trauma-specific service that provides a range of support services and practical advocacy to assist crime victims as they encounter complex challenges, services, legal issues and processes, while assisting them to identify, understand and manage emotions, trauma and its effects.
