SOFAD (Society of Food Associated Disciplines) brings together those in relations with or interested in the University’s Food and Health Programme including Food Science, Nutrition, Food Safety, Food Process Engineering, Dietetics, Population Health Nutrition, Exercise Nutrition and Wine Science.
Food and beverage are an essential part of our lives and the role of food associated disciplines in short, is to facilitate the development of new food and food related products, the physiological response to them, the agricultural and manufacturing aspects as well as the traceability and fingerprinting of this system.
