Founded as Malaysia’s oldest public engineering and technological university, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) has long been the nation’s leading source of graduate engineers and professionals. UTM is home to specialized faculties in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical and Energy Engineering, complemented by faculties in Education, Pure Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Management, and a dedicated Business School.
In 2024, UTM reinforced its leadership in future-ready education by establishing the nation’s first Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, a pioneering milestone in shaping Malaysia’s digital transformation.
