Description
Transforming Kids opened in 2015, growing to provide Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling (play therapy) and allied health assistant interventions. We utilise a range of speciality frameworks including attachment style frameworks (DIR and SPT), Sensory Integration and Neurodevelopmental models to provide intervention within our practise fields.
Our Vision is to provide quality services which matches the innovative research being driven worldwide, establishing sensory integration and attachment, relationship style services as the gold standard in service delivery. We focus on relationships, not just between ourselves and clients but within our team.
We have large individual therapy rooms which all have sensory motor equipment such as trampolines and swings. We are growth driven which means we value development with our team. To achieve this we have an amazing internal training portal of courses on all topics related to intervention. We also engage in weekly supervision and professional development groups where we dive into learning not just about our clients but about ourselves.
