Description
We represent the views of IStructE members across the greater Brisbane area.
Our aim is to help and encourage structural engineers in Brisbane in the early stage of their careers and continue to support members throughout their careers by organising technical training, social events, site visits and outreach opportunities.
The Queensland group comprises of the Young Member’s Group Queensland (YMQ) and the Australia Regional Group – Queensland Branch (ARG-Qld).
The YMQ committee is co-ordinated by volunteer young engineers and students with the help and funding of the IStructE regional committees. We hold regular monthly meetings as well as additional events throughout the year and are always looking for more people to get involved. Be sure to connect with us and get involved!
