Welcome to the IStructE Victorian Group, which proudly represents the structural engineering community across the vibrant state of Victoria. Our mission is to support and champion the interests of IStructE members in the greater Melbourne area and beyond.
We focus on providing valuable guidance to structural engineers, particularly those in the early stages of their careers, and fostering professional development for all members. We achieve this by organising technical presentations, mock professional review interviews and examinations for IStructE membership, and impactful outreach opportunities.
The IStructE Victorian Group functions as an inclusive community, bringing together professionals, students, and academics. We work closely with universities to bridge the gap between academia and industry, creating opportunities for students to connect with seasoned professionals and explore the exciting world of structural engineering.
Through regular monthly committee meetings and additional events throughout the year, we create a dynamic platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and personal development. We are always on the lookout for passionate individuals to join our community and contribute to the collective growth of the structural engineering profession.
