Được thành lập những ngày cuối năm 2016 tại TP.HCM, với hơn ba chục quyển sách, hệ thống cho mượn sách miễn phí của Sách Chuyền Tay (SCT) trong 5 năm qua đã nhân rộng mô hình và trở thành hệ thống quản lý sách tốt nhất.

Toàn bộ các sách đang có trong dự án đến thời điểm hiện tại là > 8,888 cuốn hoàn toàn được mượn miễn phí. Thời hạn mượn từ 7 – 21 ngày theo công thức quy đổi 30 trang/ngày.

Mục tiêu đến 2020 là phát triển và hỗ trợ 300 cá nhân, tổ chức phát triển văn hoá đọc mỗi năm.

Tầm nhìn trở thành tổ chức xã hội hỗ trợ các cá nhân, đoàn thể vận hành hiệu quả các câu lạc bộ đọc và mượn sách, SCT xây dựng “mô hình mẫu” cho mượn sách miễn phí với cả hình thức online lẫn trực tiếp để phát hiện và xử lý tất cả các vấn đề phát sinh của một tổ chức sách.
