Description
The QUT Women in Law Society is a student volunteer association. Our aim is to create a strong network of students, staff and industry professionals who are passionate about equality in the law. We wish to encourage constructive discussions on gender inequality, with a view to creating solutions and fostering inclusive debate.
Our goal is to increase student awareness of gender inequality in the law, so as to increase opportunities for present and future practitioners. We provide our members with a range of formal and informal activities, including socials, charity balls, skills seminars and industry networking events, and seek to provide a supportive environment with particular guidance for first year students.
We welcome new members.
