Gone are the days of recording odour sniffing patrol field observations with pen and paper. PlumeMapper allows you to record everything you need to your mobile device via an easy to use, interactive platform, and store your data in the cloud for quick retrieval and analysis. Simply record odour and weather observations on your mobile device along with the time and GPS coordinates of your sample location.
Users can record Static (timed) and Dynamic (instantaneous) “sniff test” measurements following the European EN16841 and German VDI3940 standards for the Determination of Odour in Ambient Air by using Field Inspection. Intensity and hedonic tone observations follow the German VDI3882 Part 1 & 2 measurement scales, as well as the EPA Victoria (Australia) approach.
Users can also record gas concentration measurements from handheld sensor instruments and odour concentrations from field olfactometer measurements.
PlumeMapper assists you to develop a comprehensive understanding of the odour footprint and potential for nuisance of one or more odour generating facilities of interest.
