AOM is at the forefront of kitchen exhaust hood design and air treatment technology by continuously innovating and improving our kitchen exhaust hood products. Innovation, based on over 30 years of experience in the commercial kitchen fitout business, follows four key values:
1. State of the art technologies: are used to optimise the treatment of exhaust air and form the basis to the AOM FILTRAIR™ technology - Stainless steel honeycomb filters, Electrostatic filters, Ozone Generators.
2. Integrated products: AOM has designed an integrated kitchen exhaust hood series (the AOM HD Series Hoods) based on the AOM ADDAIR™ technology of recirculating a part of treated exhaust as Make-Up-Air, thus decreasing the need for other Make-Up-Air sources.
3. Cost effectiveness: AOM Australia's HD Series Hoods allow for the design of cost effective kitchen exhaust collection and treatment solutions, particularly by optimising the hood design according to Australian Standards and the internationally recognised German Standards. Kitchen O&M costs are also decreased through decrease energy requirements and facilitated maintenance.
4. Sustainable vision: by treating exhaust air to stringent Australian Standards, AOM allows restaurants to be better integrated into their local environment even when exhaust air is discharged at street level. AOM technology also considerably decreases occupational health and safety hazards such as kitchen fires.
The AOM HC Series Hoods are the only kitchen exhaust hoods that have been certified to Australia Standards (AS1668.2-2012).
The AOM stainless steel honeycomb filters have been tested to Australian fire safety standards as a grease filter and flame barrier.
