My Thuy Seaport is a project of MTIP JVC - a multi-industry company, which is formed on the basis of Joint Venture between four main shareholders with key area in investment in projects, construction of civil and industrial projects, railway and roads, public works and specialized construction activities, the first privately owned energy seaport in Vietnam.
My Thuy Seaport is primarily developed as an energy port, among others for the production of electricity and fertilizer which are planned in connection with the port. The port will also be used for the import and export of general cargo and containers from the Quang Tri Southeast Economic Zone as well as the cargo generated by the East-West Economic Corridor linking Vietnam with Laos and Thailand.
