Description
The Prime Minister of Vietnam has approved the investment policy for this project. It covers an area of 685 hectares (335 hectares of land and 350 hectares of sea), the project is designed to include 10 ports capable of accommodating vessels with a capacity of up to 100,000 DWT. The total operational capacity is projected to reach 30,000,000 tons per year.
Strategically positioned as the gateway to the East Sea and the starting point of the East-West Economic Corridor (EWEC) within Vietnam, this project will significantly enhance the competitive advantage of Quang Tri Province. Once operational, it is expected to provide a substantial boost to the province's economic standing compared to other regions along the East-West Corridor.
