ehoa is an app that connects our users to observation of self and the environment. ehoa guides our user to track their energy levels and/or menstrual cycle alongside the māori lunar calendar system, known as maramataka, for the purpose of improving overall wellbeing and unlocking personal potential through observation of self and the environment.

Success for ehoa looks like the improvement of overall well-being, holistically, of its users and their communities along with reshaping the current view we have in the west of our environment's wellbeing being secondary to the advancement of humanity. Ehoa brings us back to a reciprocal relationship with the environment that allows both to grow and thrive alongside each other. When the environment is well, so are we.
How ehoa works:
Each day the user is asked to track their energy levels and/or menstrual cycle while noting what the current moon phase is. Once the user has been tracking for a month the in app algorithm will be able to notify the user what kind of day, week or month they can expect and plan for to best optimise their energy levels. Ehoa will provide guidance for the best days and moon phases for the user to work, rest, exercise, socialise and much more however our hope is that once they become familiar with their own relationship with themselves and the maratamaka this will become something that happens intuitively.
