Destination Hauraki Coromandel is the Regional Tourism Organisation (RTO) for the Thames Coromandel and Hauraki Districts. We are dedicated to fostering and promoting regional tourism within Hauraki Coromandel, aiming to increase the value derived from tourism in various ways:
Economic: Generating revenue and creating jobs within the tourism economy.
Social: Enhancing the social license for tourism.
Cultural: Showcasing our rich heritage and vibrant communities.
Environmental: Protecting our unique environment and biodiversity, which are key attractions for our visitors.
Our core business focuses on destination marketing, both domestically and internationally, aligned with the vision of our Destination Management Plan (DMP):
