Dendy Park Tennis Club is one of the leading tennis clubs in Victoria and Australia, one of the largest all clay court facilities in the southern hemisphere, and the big club in City of Bayside.

The President and Committee of volunteers work closely with Tennis Australia, Tennis Victoria and City of Bayside to provide a quality environment for the enjoyment of tennis. The President and Committee ensure full compliance with Consumer Affairs Victoria requirements, including financial reporting. Improvement of the condition of our courts, the Clubhouse, grounds and services to members are our top priorities.

Our strategic objectives for the Club include:

1. The continuing enjoyment of competition and social tennis in a quality Club environment 2. Establish and grow Dendy Park Tennis Academy with Club Professional Dean Ellis 3. Field a Woman’s Premier League team in 2017 4. Establish a Men’s Premier League team funded by sponsorship in the long term 5. Maintain a the strength of the Club's competition teams in open and junior ranks

Dendy Park was originally established as Elsternwick Tennis Club in the early 20th century and in 1970 relocated to its current site at Dendy Park Brighton East.

The Annual Club Championships, which date back to the 1930s, provide an opportunity for Club members to compete in a variety of graded singles and doubles events, and trophies are awarded each year to the best performed man and woman in the Tennis Victoria Pennant competition. Notable Club Championship Open Men's Singles winners include former Wimbledon Champion and Australian Davis Cup Captain Neale Fraser, Australian Davis Cup player Alan Stone and Australian Junior Champion Will Coghlan.
