Our Story
Our roots run deep, inspired by the iconic Bloodwood Tree, a symbol for healing and resilience. Founded by the visionary Barker family and fueled by tenacious spirits and real commitments for change, Bloodwood Tree has evolved into a powerful community supported initiative. For over four decades we have been unwavering in our dedicated approach, working to empower our community and preserve our rich cultural heritage.
Our Services
Employment and Training Support: We provide innovative employment and training opportunities, fostering economic empowerment and sustainable growth for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities of the Pilbara.
Alcohol, Drug, and Mental Health Support: We offer highly skilled and highly connected person-centred support, empowering and guiding our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities to recovery, creativity and change.
Homelessness Support: We restore stability and control, offering support and guidance for maintaining healthy lifestyles, healthy housing, healthy culture and healthy family environments.
