Description
Bangkok Accueil is affiliated with FIAFE* and currently counts more than 500 members. They are French and French-speaking expatriates and their families. We also welcome members whose first language is not French.
*FIAFE (Fédération Internationale des Accueils Français et francophones d’Expatriés), established in 1984, is a network of over 160 French, Francophone and Francophile Welcome associations active in over 90 countries around the world!
Bangkok Accueil is a non-profit, apolitical and non-religious association. It is managed by a dynamic team of 40 volunteers whose commitment and efforts ensure that our organization is both dynamic and well run.
We organize year-round events such as coffee mornings, brunches and lunches, evening drinks, family get together and a large number of other outings, conferences, parties. We have a particular focus on promoting Francophonie and Humanitarian actions.
Our team main mission is to welcome French-speaking members and their families who move to Bangkok and to help them integrate and adapt in this lively and exciting city. Our goal is to help make every family’s move to Bangkok as happy an experience as possible.
Bangkok Accueil is hosted by the French Embassy in Thailand, and works in partnership with local Francophone institutions (such as the Franco-Thai Chamber of Commerce, Alliance Française and the French International School ). We also partner with a number of private companies which give our members access to a range of exclusive benefits and discounts.
Since November 2022, FIAFE and its network of Associations is recognized as being of public utility by the French government.
