Your Happy Place aims to drive a movement of mental wellbeing at the heart of education in New Zealand and support whānau with accessible resources for the mental wellbeing of their tamariki. The Positive Mindset Challenge programme offers schools membership access, which can be extended to whānau through classroom learning and an app. Schools can become licensed as a Positive Mindset School, promoting a holistic wellbeing culture.
Additionally, the programme’s resources are designed to serve as a referral tool for social services, community organisations and practitioners working within schools or in the wider community. The programme can be implemented within a counselling setting or referred for home use, bringing techniques and tools directly into the home environment.
