Welcome to the Young IFA Network (YIN) New Zealand group. The Young IFA Network (YIN) is a programme set up by the NZ branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA).
IFA is a global organisation that comprises tax partners/Heads of Tax/senior tax policy officials. IFA NZ holds an invitation-only conference every year with invited overseas and domestic speakers, covering recent tax policy, legislative and case law developments. IFA NZ also holds branch events on occasion during the year on issues of interest, on a smaller scale than the annual conference.
YIN has the objective of cultivating interest among younger members of the tax profession in IFA initiatives. We organise events each year that will normally involve a presentation or expert discussion on a tax issue of interest to our members. All our events are open invitation and held in both Auckland and Wellington locations. We aim to attract a broad range of attendees, including those postgraduate or senior undergraduate university students intending to make a career in tax. Full IFA members are also invited and regularly attend these events.
We welcome anybody with an interest in tax policy (young, old or in between) to complete the form at our website to sign up to our distribution list and hear about YIN NZ events going forward.
