Description

We are an organisation that has been established in order to create an online community of people who want to have a positive impact on the planet and the people that inhabit it.

Worms Bees Trees is not a charity. We are a business founded and operated by volunteers who have a range of business and industry backgrounds. Our goal as a business is to finish each year at a break-even position with all funds donated or raised to go back to community groups.

At present we have no operating costs and all work carried out is done on a volunteer basis. Should we eventually require some funding to provide administration, finance, website or other functions, we will be extremely transparent on where funds are being directed.

We understand that people have different areas of passion and levels of ability and desire to help. WBT is here to assist those who may want to do something, but may not have the ability, know-how or consistent focus to execute their desire for good.

WBT exists in order to promote and assist worthwhile programs, causes, initiatives, campaigns and individuals who are committed to leaving Mother Earth better than we found it.

WBT has aspirations to assist with the education of our youth to prepare them for the future world through hands-on programs that work alongside traditional education.

Our long term vision is to build a model of supporting community sporting and recreation clubs who in turn promote grassroot environmental initiatives that can be replicated and scaled globally.

WBT utilises the assistance of local community groups, clubs, organisations and/or individuals to put on events with the aim to make the earth a better place to live.

Profits from these events are then to be distributed back to those organisations or to the causes that they are passionate about.

The organisation does not discriminate against age, race, colour, sexuality or religion and everyone is welcome to join.
