We are dedicated to delivering excellence in wool innovation and supply. We have offices in Christchurch New Zealand, China, England and the United States and are able to connect the industry right from farmer to Retailer.

The Land, The Sheep, The Farmers & The Technology
The Land:
Aotearoa New Zealand. We believe the land is our most precious recourse and something that we work hard as guardians of this land to protect. New Zealand is a magnificent and truly beautiful part of the world that was untouched by human kind for millennia. This land of glaciers, mountains and rivers is our wool factory. We work hard to keep it pristine. It is our home and we love it. The land is not ours, we are merely guardians who are lucky enough to inhabit until we pass it to the next generation.
The Sheep:
Our sheep roam free in large herds, as many as 10,000 on a single farm. The sheep live outdoors in their natural environment, eating lush pasture and turning it into the world’s purest wool. Sheep are nature’s fibre machine and have been helping clothe people for thousands of years. New Zealand was founded on wool with sheep introduced in the 1700’s to provide textile mills with raw materials. As such New Zealand has sheep breeds especially bred for producing the perfect wool for textiles.
Our Growers look after these sheep who enjoy the world’s best standards of animal husbandry. The sheep are our livelihood, happy well cared for animals produce excellent wool.
The Farmers:
Wools of New Zealand is owned by the people who grow our wool, we like to call, ourselves “Growers”. Our Growers, or Farmers pride themselves on working with nature to produce a world class high-quality wool fibre. Our growers own the company and are investing in the future, choosing to be part of a progressive company that is here to change the game and create a more sustainable future for the planet and all of its inhabitants. Our farms are often a family business that have often been in the family for several generations. All growers that produce Wools of New Zealand wool are part of our integrity programme ensuring the best practice in Land management animal husbandry and sustainability
The Technology:
At Wools of New Zealand, we are doing some clever stuff with wool. We work with our science partners to create innovations that add value to wool and wool products. New Zealand is recognised for producing clean, white, durable wool – the world's best. Wools of New Zealand's Glacial XT is a significant technical advancement for New Zealand wool. Glacial XT takes the most luxurious wool from New Zealand and improves upon it to create the highest quality wool available.
