WiRE's Mission: Fostering women and girls to excel.

Strategic Objectives:

1. Increase participation of women in the resources and energy sectors.

2. Create a single platform for women in the resources and energy sectors to connect in order to exchange ideas and knowledge and to champion growth opportunities that will provide unlimited possibilities for women and girls.

3. Establish a Centre for Excellence that will address a wide range of topics within the research and practice of science, technology and culture to remove barriers for women and girls, regardless of the sectors they choose, to grow and thrive.
