WIMAR is an all-inclusive club passionate about connecting, educating and empowering women in Western Australia's mining & resources industry.
We aim to do so through industry speakers, networking events, industry exposure and fundraising.
Core Objectives:
- To motivate women in pursuing a career in mining.
- To reduce the gender gap in the mining industry and other jobs/research related to the mining industry.
- To inform people about the trends that are happening in the mining industry.
- To promote networking with people from the mining industry and increase the industry involvement at the early stages of studying.
- To provide a forum for discussion of matters that are related to the mining industry and similar interests.
