WIFA’s purpose is to empower and encourage women to pursue their fitness goals by having a supportive, inclusive, and safe gym environment. We aim to:
(1) Promote Women’s Fitness Journeys by inspiring and motivating women at UOA to engage in and sustain their fitness routines.
(2) Build Community such as connecting like-minded "gym girlies" to create lasting friendships and a sense of belonging.
(3) Create a Safe and Inclusive Space to ensure all members feel welcome, supported, and confident in the gym.
(4) Support Skill Development by proving resources such as workout guidance, workout classes and workout meals recommendation to enhance safety and improve fitness outcomes.
