Women Barristers' Association is open to all members of the Victorian Bar.
All persons who wish to advance the WBA’s goals and purposes are welcome.
The WBA aims to :
Provide a professional and social network to women barristers in Victoria
Promote awareness, discussion and resolution of issues which particularly affect women
Identify, highlight and eradicate discrimination against women in the law and in the legal system; and
Advance equality for women across the legal profession
WBA was formed in 1993 and its inaugural convenor was Judge Rachelle Lewitan
