Wollondilly Women in Business (WWIB) has created an environment and platforms for local business women to learn, engage, grow personally and professionally while expanding their social and business networks.
Offering local business women a sisterhood, a chance to interact, build friendships and firm connections, somewhere they are encouraged and supported by like-minded, driven and creative women. Our events are inclusive and promote everyone's passions and strengths through connection. The WWIB brand has earned ever strengthening traction within our business community, we encourage our members to shop local. Our networking events cater for a different focus and has been implemented to foster engagement within a kind, compassionate and authentic WWIB community. They include Leadership Breakfasts, Coffee Catch-Ups and Networking Nights. Once we began creating an environment with platforms for their members to learn, we became further inspired to establish a more permanent, educational designation. This is how the Wollondilly Empowerment Project (WEP) came into being, providing a range of initiatives and training, open to both genders, in our local community. These training initiatives have cemented our reputation within the local business sphere.
WWIB knew that mere education and networking opportunities were not enough to build camaraderie. So, we injected excitement around our vision by celebrating our successes. These include our International Women's Day High Tea, Dilly Business Christmas and the Wollondilly Women in Excellence Awards (WWIEA). The WWIEA were created to celebrate, recognise and award excellence, outstanding leadership, community contribution and role models within the Wollondilly Shire. All our events enhance our value as a network to not only its members but our local community at large.
