Description
In 1999, White Lodge’s founding director, Jayne Nadarajoo, realised that childhood education tends to focus on academic excellence, with little emphasis on long-term intellectual and emotional growth.
Unsatisfied with how children were being nurtured in schools and armed with ten years of experience in early childhood care, she decided to start her own kindergarten for her children – marking the beginning of White Lodge.
Our objective is to liberate, empower and motivate children to use their individual gifts with confidence, creativity and generosity - allowing them to derive the greatest value, pleasure and fulfillment from their childhood.
Since our inception in 1999, we have seen up to 8,000 children through our doors. White Lodge promises parents a pre-school education that they can rely on, a proven comprehensive curriculum and a child-centred learning environment that facilities active learning, involvement and discovery.
We believe that every child should experience learning as an adventure, and we strive to provide an education with “something more”.
