Established in 2002, West Coast Rewind is a West Australian owned and operated company that specializes in the rewind and maintenance of 3 phase electric motors up to 500KW. Our modern workshop facilities in Malaga our maintained by highly qualified trades persons with over fifty years experience across five continents, all their work is carried out in accordance with AS4307.1-95.
We recently made a substantial investment in state of the art non-destructive testing equipment. Enabling Us to evaluate the condition of a winding by measuring very fine resistance measurements, impedance, phase angles, inductance and capacitance of motor windings enabling them to diagnose the early turn to turn breakdown of insulation.
We also perform high voltage testing to measure dielectric absorption ratios and polarization index to evaluate the condition of the slot insulation to ground and between phases.
This equipment is utilized in house to test all motors that come through the workshop” We also attend sites and analyse the condition of clients’ motors. By downloading this information onto our system we can track the deterioration of a motor and supply the client with an accurate report on the condition of each motor. Enabling them to plan to have the motor repaired at a time convenient to them for example, during a scheduled shut down, rather than waiting for the motor to break down and cause production problems.
All work is done to the highest standards using only the best quality parts and materials and our motors are, if anything over engineered.
West Coast Rewind stands for quality, service and price. We can provide faster turn-around time and more cost-effective service with a personalized approach through our fully equipped workshop and qualified and experienced workers. We also provide a 12-month workmanship warranty on all our motors.
