Description
Salute is a proudly Australian owned and operated family business. Established over 35 years ago by Ann and David Hough in South Australia in the Adelaide Hills, the business, originally called Pak Rite, started life in the couple’s garage. A few months later they moved out of their garage into formal premises. As the business and its range grew, the Houghs expanded their operations into the building next to their own.
Today, Ann and David’s son, Bronte and his wife Nicole head up Salute with the support of a great team of 45 employees, with their head office based in Hahndorf in the beautiful Adelaide Hills, and their purpose built Distribution Centre dispatching orders State wide from Direk.
Salute – better solutions
Salute provide complete cleaning, chemical, washroom, packaging, hand hygiene, and eco-friendly solutions to over 3000 direct customers across the education, hospitality, healthcare, aged care, food service, industrial, facility management and entertainment sectors. Salute’s trusted distribution network also provide service and support to many more customers across Australia.
As a business, Salute practices a customer-first approach. We forge long-term partnerships with our clients and work hard to provide them with customised solutions that will add value, address their needs by reducing cost and usage, and, where possible, help protect our planet and environment.
Salute is a founding member of TCA (the collective Australasia) and works with many manufacturers including premium brands, such as Biopak, Clorox, True Blue Chemicals, ESG Asia Pacific, GOJO and PURELL.
