We Need Our Village is a support and advocacy group for expecting and new parents affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and the Australian government’s hard border policies.
Our mission is to drive change for women and families affected by perinatal mental health problems.
More than 1 in 5 women develop a mental health problem during pregnancy or within the early years after having a baby. Covid-19 has increased the mental health risks new and expectant mums face. If untreated, PMH problems can have a devastating impact on the women affected and their families.
We are dedicated to ensure dedicated to ensuring all women and families across Australia affected by perinatal mental problems have access to high-quality comprehensive care and support.
