WASP Asia (Women’s Alliance for Security and Peace) is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing women’s leadership in peacebuilding, digital resilience, and inclusive governance across Asia.
Founded by all-women YSEALI scholars, WASP empowers young women, frontline responders, and community advocates to become key actors in conflict prevention, strategic security, and digital protection. We believe that sustainable peace requires women not only at the table, but leading change.
Our programs are rooted in international frameworks such as the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda, cybersecurity foresight, and civic education. We deliver localized, practical training on digital safety, risk management, youth engagement, and peace leadership.
Since 2023, WASP has scaled initiatives supported by the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines:
🔹 In 2023, we led a national cybersecurity training for women and youth under the Emerging Voices program.
🔹 In 2024, we conducted a series of regional workshops on leadership, gender and development (GAD), and cybersecurity, and launched AMPLIFY 9.0, a youth-led campaign on peace and digital resilience.
🔹 In 2025, we convened the first-ever SHEROES Summit, a national platform for women leaders in security, governance, and innovation.
Through summits like SHEROES, toolkits such as Power in Pages, and digital platforms like HERSAFE, we reach grassroots advocates, local officials, and survivors of violence with tools that protect, inform, and inspire.
🔸 1,000+ youth and women leaders trained 🔸 Programs active in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao 🔸 Partnerships with civil society, security sectors, and global institutions
We are open to partnerships with organizations, donors, and institutions that believe in peace through participation, safety through empowerment, and impact through inclusion.
