Waratah is a non-profit organisation in WA’s South West, providing free, specialised and therapeutic intervention as well as counselling and support services for people who have experienced sexual assault and/or sexual abuse and/or family domestic violence.
Services are also provided to those who need to understand how to deal with the issues and impacts of the trauma in their lives and/or the lives of their loved ones.
Waratah encourages a safe environment in which those affected by sexual assault, abuse and domestic violence have the right to exercise choice over their lives.
Waratah believes that promoting community awareness, training, provision of information, advocacy and lobbying are some of the key elements in addressing the issue of violence.
