Description

Waratah Chambers was established in 2008 by a group of experienced Barristers who specialise in Family Law. From its inception Waratah Chambers has grown significantly, both in size and reputation, and is now recognised as a leader in providing expert Counsel to advise and appear in relation to family law issues and all associated proceedings.

The twenty-three members of Waratah Chambers, each of whom is a member of the New South Wales Bar Association, provide service of the highest quality to a broad range of clients.

The members of the floor provide specialist advice and representation and are available to appear in all courts and tribunals in Australia, both in trial and appellate proceedings. A number of members have also appeared extensively in international jurisdictions, including South Africa, Fiji, England and New Zealand.

Alternative dispute resolution is also an important part of our practice with all members participating frequently in all forms, particularly mediations and arbitrations. A number of our members are qualified mediators and arbitrators and Chambers has dedicated facilities available for the conduct of all forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Each member is committed to acting in the highest interests of an independent Bar, and diligently pursuing their clients’ interests in an efficient and cost effective manner. These standards extend to our courteous and helpful administration and support staff who are always on hand to assist solicitors and clients alike.
