Description
WOW was set up in December 2019 by a team of professionals as well as business owners (details in the slides attached) with the aim of empowering adults and children in poor villages who spend hours each day on foot with micro-mobility solutions.
This comes in the form of e-scooters. E-scooters have caused a massive headache in and around our squeezed Singapore due to our limited land size, and even resulted in serious injuries to innocent pedestrians.
However, that is not the case for villages in Bali and Lombok with vast spaces and wide roads. This is where Walkers On Wheels comes in. We obtain these pre-owned e-scooters, and transport them to impoverished villages in Bali and Lombok for distribution to those who need more help than we can possibly give.
Therefore, this initiative turns a first world problem into third world solutions.
