Vietnam Tea Corporation - JSC (Vinatea, jsc.), Formerly a state-owned enterprise under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, was established in 1958. In December 2015, Vietnam Tea Corporation was transformed. business model to a joint stock company, becoming Vietnam Tea Corporation - Joint Stock Company under Decision 864 of the Prime Minister.
Vinatea owns tea growing material areas and tea factories spread across the Northern provinces of Vietnam such as Phu Tho, Moc Chau, Thai Nguyen, Yen Bai, Nghia Lo, Lien Son, Ha Tinh, Hanoi ... with The total tea plantation area is nearly 4,700 hectares with high yield and good quality tea gardens. Vinatea is certified by the International Rainforest Alliance for sustainable agricultural development for 70% of black tea growing areas and 50% of green tea areas; VIETGAP certification for 100% green tea growing areas, complete and maintain a full value chain from raw material areas to factories according to the standards of Sustainable Agriculture Network (SAN (Sustainable Agriculture Network), and staff workers with high professional qualifications and skills.
