Anni and Ming, the co-founders, have embarked on this path fueled by the powerful emotions of vengeance arising from years of being consistently underestimated. As survivors of childhood trauma and domestic abuse, we understand the importance of reclaiming our strength and asserting healthy boundaries in our lives.
We believe that setting boundaries is an act of empowerment, even though it may sometimes feel like we’re cast in the role of the villain. That’s precisely why we’ve chosen to embrace this phase of our lives as our “Villain Era.” We want to rewrite the narrative that surrounds survivors of abuse, transforming the perception of being assertive and self-protective from negative to admirable.
