VPA Inc is the only union in Victoria which specifically looks after the industrial interests of psychologists working in the health industry.
VPA Inc is component Association of the Health Services Union (HSU) Victoria No. 4 Branch which is the federally-registered union which is party to the federal awards and enterprise agreements which govern the terms and conditions of employment of medical scientists, dietitians, audiologists and clinical perfusionists, medical physicists, genetic counsellors, psychologists and hospital pharmacists.
These awards and agreements cover medical scientists, psychologists and pharmacists employed in a range of settings in both the public and private sector - in hospitals, community health centres, pathology laboratories and psychological and mental health/psychiatric services.
