It deals with manufacturing and selling of advanced industrial refractory products and systems to global Steel and Foundry industries and a range of special refractory products to Aluminium, Petrochem, Cement, Power, Glass, Solar, mineral processing industries, etc. Globally, Vesuvius employs over 12000 employees across 40 countries that include 70 Manufacturing sites, 120 Sales locations and 14 R&D centres around the world. The current revenue of the Group is around GBP 2 billion. We enjoy almost 56% market share in the Industry across the globe.
In Vietnam, Vesuvius is major supplier of refractories and systems to steel plants of Hoa Phat, Formosa Ha Tinh, Viet Nhat in the North, to Da Nang, Dana Y in Central & Pomina, Posco in the South. Vesuvius Vietnam is currently in form of Representative Office but shall be upgraded as an identical company soon after paperwork completion. Sub-offices are located in each steel plant for convenience of supervising product performance. Each sub-office includes an administrator, a refractory supervisor and refractory engineers. Products of Vesuvius in Vietnam are imported from Malaysia, China, and India.
