More than 3 decades ago the Upton family commenced trading in Hobart supplying building materials to builders, handymen and the home renovator. Since then the business has developed into being a leading supplier of building materials, timber, plywood and the SHIELD range of double glazed windows and doors.
The business, still family owned, has grown significantly and is now made up of three distinct businesses:
UPTONS: Everything you need from flooring, decking, plywood to F17.
SHIELD WINDOWS & DOORS: A broad range of windows and doors ranging from Aluminium and Timber, double glazed and semi commercial.
THE BUNKER: For all your plywood and steel needs
In total we have 8 commercial sites across the eastern seaboard, with a new state of the art warehouse and distribution center in Epping, Victoria which recently opened in June 2017.
