The University of Queensland International Students’ Society (UQISS) is a student-led organisation founded in 2020, dedicated to fostering cross-cultural connection, global engagement, and student well-being within UQ’s international community.

Our mission is to break down cultural barriers, support international students as they adjust to life in Brisbane, and strengthen ties between international and domestic cohorts. Through social, cultural, and professional initiatives, we aim to enrich the student experience and champion a more inclusive campus environment.
