United World Initiative is a non-profit organization and the official representative of United World College (UWC) in Vietnam. We select students for UWC colleges and organize programs in Vietnam and the U.S. to promote the UWC mission.
United World College (or UWC) (www.uwc.org) is an education movement founded in 1974 with the mission to make education a force to unite people, nations, and cultures for peace and a sustainable future. Currently UWC has 18 schools located in Armenia, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, India, Italy, Japan, Norway, Singapore, Swaziland, Tanzania, Thailand, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and the United States. UWC schools teach the International Baccalaureate (IB) (www.ibo.org). Students at UWCs come from all over the world and are selected based on their merit and potential.
