Description
United Vehicles Industries Sdn. Bhd. was incorporated on 7 September 1982 and commenced its operations as a fuel tank manufacturer in 1984. In Year 1985, the company managed to secure the contract to supply its fuel tanks for Malaysia’s first national car, Proton Saga. Subsequently, almost all other car manufacturers or assemblers also sourced their fuel tanks from us.
In Year 2002, United Vehicles Industries Sdn. Bhd. had the honour to participate in the development of plastic fuel tank. Having the technical collaboration with Kautex Textron GmbH & Co., Germany, United Vehicles Industries Sdn. Bhd. set up its own plastic blow moulding facilities in Malaysia to produce and supply plastic fuel tank.
Besides being one of the main fuel tank suppliers in Malaysia, we also produce many stamping parts, such as cross member assembly, floor cross, support radiator, etc supplying to main local car manufacturers, Proton and Perodua.
We also fabricating tools and dies and has our own in house Core Engineering Department, equipped with a 2.5 Meter CNC Machining Centre.
With the recent technical collaboration with Yachiyo Industry Co., Ltd., Japan, it has add strength to our experience and capability to supply plastic fuel tank to OEMs in Malaysia.
