We are the team behind Google Street View underwater and inventors of the SVII camera. Our 360-degree imagery has become the most viewed underwater imagery in history with views in the billions.
We led the XL Catlin Seaview Survey, a project that spanned over five years and involved scientific coral reef surveys across 26 countries, collecting over 1 million panoramic underwater images, resulting in the world’s largest scientific visual archive of underwater environments.
Other achievements include:
- the announcement, revealing and following of The Third Global Coral Bleaching Event which in turn, became the subject of a major award-winning Netflix documentary 'Chasing Coral';
- a major exhibition at the Natural History Museum in London;
- the launch of 50 Reefs, a global plan to save coral reefs.
Under our brand Seaview 360 we are pioneers in the production of underwater 360 films. Since our first VR video work in 2015, our work has expanded to include a suite of other impactful, award winning VR 360 films. Our films have been touring the world and have showcased in prestigious locations such as the United Nations Headquarters and the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco.
Our vision is to see the use of Virtual Reality expanded to create education programmes and powerful ocean storytelling that highlights the importance of and heroes the success stories of marine protection work worldwide
