Description

Underground Training has been set up to assist with new starters to the Australian Hardrock underground mining industry. To do this the Underground Training offers 3 training packages to help new starters into the industry.

DIY Intro to Underground Mining $495 The 3 Step Plan Package including resume services $825 Workready $1250 The Hardrock underground mining industry is currently experiencing high demands in all job areas. This means that there are real opportunities for a well-prepared new starter to get into the industry. If a new starter has the right mining knowledge (and meet the other basic standards), it quickly becomes a no brainer for most employers. Get the mining question wrong or don’t meet the basic standard and they will move on.

DIY contains 4 online courses that are used to train new starters are written using the Western Australian Mining Act & Regulations as its standard, by a group of Ticketed Western Australian Underground supervisors (all have Cert 4 in Training)

The courses will take 8 to 10 hours to complete each and includes the Australian Mining Seminar which contains full instructions on how to redo your own resume (it takes about 2 hours to do yourself) and interview prep questions as well as a mining company to apply to directly. If you want your resume done for you checkout our 3 Step Plan package which includes the DIY package with a full resume service.

Workready includes the same online courses but has a more hands on approach using a WA ticketed shift boss to become your Mining Coach. We will redo your resume to make it mining friendly. Once you finish the online course, the coach does interview prep, answers any questions you may have and makes a plan with you about where and who you are going to get a job with.
