The University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) has been serving the Nation since 1964 and continues to improve and enhance academic quality. We will keen to be more advanced and improve the quality in all fields, in terms of education curriculum, infrastructure, student services, cooperation, expansion, and international programs.
Currently, UMM has 10 Undergraduate Programs with 3 Diploma Programs, 35 Undergraduate Studies, 11 Masters Programs, 3 Doctoral Programs, and 5 Professional Programs. The total students are now more than 30 thousands coming from all corners of the country and also abroad. UMM is supported by 1.127 lecturers, 597 employees, also 400 Professors and Doctors. With qualified human resources and complete facilities, UMM is ready to educate students to become professional graduates, have a noble character, and give the best for Nation.
As a Higher Education Trustee for Muhammadiyah Universities in Eastern Indonesia, UMM is now accredited A (Accreditation from BAN-PT No. 074 / SK / BAN-PT / Ak-IV / PT / II / 2013). The existing study programs have been accredited as well, that is 89% Accredited A and B and the rest (only 11%) are accredited C. Some awards have also been achieved by UMM, including Accreditation Very Good in the implementation of Research and Community Service from Dikti. Furthermore, UMM is categorized as 2 Star (**) QS-Stars. In 2018, UMM also received the 11th Excellence Campus Award (AKU) and AKU Kartika from East Java Kopertis Region VII for three times. There are still many achievements and awards that we could not mention one by one, including student achievements in the national and international levels.
In addition to running core business in the field of higher education, UMM has also expanded in various fields. Some Profit Centers currently owned by UMM are Kapal Garden Hotel, Rayz Hotel UMM, UMM SPBU, UMM Bookstore, UMM Medical Center, UMM Hospital, and many more.
