The United Associations of Vietnamese Students in New South Wales, Australia (UAVS-NSW) was founded in 2018 with a belief in the value of connection and solidarity, thereby forming a desire to unite the Vietnamese International Student Community of over 11,000 students, through member universities, to enhance the image, values and talents of the Vietnamese people in general and Vietnamese students in particular.
OUR MISSIONS:
. Connecting a community of international Vietnamese students via talk shows, workshops, seminars and competitions.
. Supporting graduates on their career paths & helping professionals reaffirm their abilities.
. Sharing career opportunities for the enrichment of the students’ experience, bridging the gap between professionals, alumni and international students.
Over the past three years, UAVS cooperates with seven major Associations of Vietnamese students from top universities in NSW, Australia, including The University of Macquarie (MOV), The University of Technology Sydney (iVUTS), The University of New South Wales (SoVIS), The University of Sydney (ViSUS) and The University of Wollongong (VGong), Western Sydney University (Western VISA), The University of Newcastle (VSUN).
Moreover, we are trusted and united with The Consulate General of Vietnam in Sydney & The Vietnamese International Student Community as an organisation to create a connected - supportive environment for students.
