Description

Our b’nei mitzvah programs broaden awareness of social issues and provide hands-on volunteering opportunities for our families to give back. It’s flexible, fun and rewarding.

Delivered through two streams, our Twelve batmitzvah and Thirteen barmitzvah cohorts participate in separate volunteering sessions with our charity partners.

What’s involved

  • February: Interactive face to face opening workshop
  • Monthly volunteering session: 2 hour session, once a month during the school term (1-3 sessions)
  • October: Closing ceremony

  • Making meals for the homeless with Youth Projects
  • Packing craft kits for seriously ill children with Koala Kids
