A candidate is a name match on the registry, not a confirmed identity, and two candidates are ambiguity rather than a corporate structure.
In 1977 the Millmore Family, headed by Mr Tony Millmore, took over the operations of Easts Holidays Pty Ltd trading as Easts Holidays. In 1987 the company continued to evolve with a new name to incorporate a sister company, the trading name changed from Easts Holidays to Venture MacDonald. Significantly, 1987 also saw Venture MacDonald take over the General Sales Agent (GSA) role for Holland America Line in Australia as well as the Tauck family’s leading tour operation brand Tauck World Discovery.
The company has grown significantly over these last 32 years as we added new GSA products. In 1988 Venture MacDonald also became the General Sales Agent for Windstar Cruises. 2001 saw another step in the evolution as the company moved away from the sister company to stand more independently under the trading name of TTW Marketing. Over the years the name TTW Marketing evolved and currently trades as Travel the World (TTW).
In 2002 Travel the World began to represent Chiva-Som Luxury Health Resort and in December 2005 the company took on the biggest cruise line in the world: Carnival Cruise Lines. February 2008 saw Travel the World become the General Sales Agent for the French yachting group Ponant, who combine eco-friendly principles with elegance and unique itineraries.
To ensure that Travel the World (TTW) could properly service our full stable of premium principles we have increased our staff across the country. In the past 10 years alone Travel the World (TTW) has grown from a company of only 8 employees to the 45 staff employed today. During this time we have strived to achieve a Benchmark of Excellence in our field. Industry partners and principles have recognised this achievement with numerous awards to congratulate us on achieving our targets and significant growth in sales over the years.
